American Revolution Experience Pop-Up Exhibit

Free traveling exhibit on the American Revolution at Alamance Community College.

Bring your family to explore the American Revolution Experience, a free traveling exhibit celebrating America's 250th anniversary. Created by the Battle of Alamance Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Battlefield Trust, this immersive pop-up combines interactive digital kiosks, historical artifacts, storytelling, and firsthand accounts to help visitors understand the people and events of this pivotal time in our nation's history. It's designed for everyone—families, students, homeschoolers, and history enthusiasts of all ages. While visiting, kids can enjoy free craft activities and hands-on projects (available while supplies last). If you visit on Wednesday, July 8, there's even more to experience: a concert featuring the Hawfields Jammers mountain dulcimer group, a reading of the Declaration of Independence by historical interpreters, and a reception hosted by local DAR members. The exhibit is located on the second floor of the Main Building's Student Activities Center, and the space is accessible by elevator. Best of all, admission and daily activities are completely free.
