The interactive pop-up combines historical artifacts, digital displays, storytelling, and personal accounts to help visitors understand the people and events that shaped our country. Whether you're a history enthusiast, homeschooler, or simply looking for an educational outing, there's something here for all ages. Free craft kits and hands-on activities are available daily while supplies last, making it engaging for younger learners.
The exhibit runs from July 6–9 at Alamance Community College, with special programming on Wednesday, July 8. That day features a concert by the Hawfields Jammers (a mountain dulcimer group), a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence, and a community reception. The exhibit is located on the second floor of the Main Building's Student Activities Center with elevator access available. There's no admission fee, and registration isn't required—just stop by during operating hours.
