Art on the Dot

Art on the Dot is the North Carolina Museum of Art's guided tour program designed for visitors who want a focused, manageable introduction to the collection. During each session, a museum educator leads small groups through a brief exploration of about three artworks, spending roughly half an hour together. It's a great option if you're short on time or want your family to experience the museum without feeling rushed. The program runs on weekend afternoons with three separate tours back-to-back, each lasting 30 minutes with short breaks between rounds. You're welcome to join just one tour or stick around to experience multiple sessions and discover different works of art.
