Art on the Dot
Interactive art program at NC Museum of Art West Building.
Art on the Dot offers a refreshing way to explore the North Carolina Museum of Art without needing a big time commitment. A museum educator leads small groups through focused tours, each lasting about 30 minutes and featuring just three artworks. This intimate format lets families really dive into a few pieces rather than rushing through galleries, making it perfect for younger children or anyone who prefers a more relaxed pace.
The program runs in three back-to-back sessions on weekend afternoons, with short breaks between rounds. You're welcome to join one session, pop back for another, or stay for all three—it's entirely up to you. Best of all, admission is completely free. Just show up a few minutes early; no registration or tickets are required.
