Art on the Dot
Interactive art experience at NC Museum of Art West Building.
Art on the Dot is the North Carolina Museum of Art's short-form tour program designed for visitors who want a focused, manageable art experience. A museum docent guides small groups through about three artworks over 30 minutes, making it perfect for families with younger children or anyone who prefers an intimate introduction to the collection without a lengthy commitment.
The program runs in three back-to-back rounds on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with a 15-minute break between each session. You're welcome to join one round, multiple rounds, or return on different weekends to discover new artworks and docents. Best of all, admission is completely free. It's a great way to explore the museum at a relaxed pace and return regularly to see what the next docent has chosen to highlight.
