Artful Story Time

Join us for a story time experience that brings books and art together in one creative session. Your child will look, listen, and move while discovering connections between picture books and artworks on display. Each month features a different guest reader, so there's always a fresh perspective to enjoy. This October's session celebrates home and community, and includes a special visit with artist Becky Joye. Kids can explore her interactive Lighthouse installation in the gallery—a cozy quilted structure perfect for snuggling up with a loved one. We encourage children to bring a favorite stuffed animal to enhance the warm, comforting atmosphere of the books we'll be sharing together. This program works best for children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers. Registration is free and required.
