Baby Lapsit

Baby Lapsit is a storytime program designed for the youngest library visitors and their caregivers. During the 20-minute session, babies enjoy age-appropriate books, rhymes, music, and movement activities tailored to their developmental stage. After storytime wraps up, families are welcome to stay for an additional 30 minutes of unstructured playtime, giving little ones a chance to explore and interact with peers in a relaxed setting. This recurring program happens weekly and welcomes babies of all ages to participate at their own pace. It's a great way to introduce your infant or toddler to the library while connecting with other families in your community. Staff may photograph attendees for the library's website and promotional materials—just let them know if you'd prefer not to be included in photos.
