Baby Lapsit

Baby Lapsit brings together the littlest library visitors and their grown-ups for a cozy 20-minute storytime designed just for babies. You'll enjoy age-appropriate books, rhymes, songs, and gentle movement activities that engage your little one's senses. After storytime wraps up, there's a 30-minute Stay and Play period where families can linger, interact, and let babies explore in a welcoming space. This recurring program happens weekly throughout the year, giving you a chance to build a routine with other families in your community. It's the perfect introduction to library story time for babies who are too young for traditional toddler programs. Keep in mind that photos may be taken during the event for the library's website and social media—just let staff know if you'd prefer your family not to be photographed.
