Baby Lapsit

Baby Lapsit is a storytime program designed for the youngest library visitors and their caregivers. The session begins with a 20-minute lapsit experience featuring books, rhymes, songs, and gentle movement activities chosen with babies in mind. After storytime wraps up, families are welcome to stay for an additional 30 minutes of playtime, giving little ones a chance to explore and interact while parents connect with other caregivers. This recurring program meets regularly throughout the fall season and is a wonderful introduction to library resources for babies. Staff may photograph attendees during the event for use on the library's website and social media—just let them know if you'd prefer your family not to be included.
