Babytime at Southern

Bring your baby to this cozy early literacy program at the Southern Branch Library's kids' area. During this 20-minute session, your little one will enjoy stories, rhymes, lap-bounces, and songs—all designed to support early language development. The program welcomes newborns through babies who are just starting to walk, and caregivers stay seated right alongside their babies throughout. To fit everyone's schedules, two identical back-to-back sessions are offered each week: one starting at 9:30 am and another at 11:00 am. You can choose whichever time works best for your family's routine, whether that's around morning naps or other daily activities. Just pick one session per week to attend. The first group will transition out by 10:30 am to make room for the next group of families.
