Babytime at Southern
Early literacy songs, rhymes, and bounces for babies and walkers at the Southern Branch Library.
Babytime at Southern is a short early literacy session designed for the youngest learners. During this 15–20 minute program, babies from newborns through early walkers will enjoy stories, rhymes, bounces, and songs in the library's kid's area. Caregivers and siblings are welcome and encouraged to participate alongside the little ones.
This is a wonderful introduction to language and rhythm for infants, offered in a welcoming library space. It's a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect with other families while supporting early learning through music and movement. The program takes place on the first floor of the library complex, making it easy to access.
