Birding with Wake Audubon Society
Guided birding walk with Wake Audubon at Museum Park.
Join Wake Audubon Society for a guided birding adventure in Museum Park. This free program happens on the second Saturday morning of each month, giving families a chance to explore local bird species and habitats in a natural setting. Whether your kids are curious beginners or experienced junior birders, you'll spend two hours outdoors learning from knowledgeable guides in a peaceful park environment.
Preregistration is required to participate. After you sign up, Wake Audubon will send you additional details and any updates directly—not through the museum. If you have questions or want to register, head to their Meetup page to connect with the organization running the program. This is a wonderful way to get outside, discover local wildlife, and connect with other families who share an interest in birds and nature.
