Body/Breast/Bottle Feeding Basics
Postpartum doula-led workshop on infant feeding basics for new and expecting parents.
Andrea Fowler, a postpartum doula and certified lactation counselor, will guide you through the fundamentals of feeding your infant with practical tips and reassurance. This two-hour workshop covers positioning for both parent and baby, what a healthy latch looks like, and how to spot and fix common concerns. You'll also learn about introducing bottles to your baby, choosing the right bottle and nipple styles, and practicing paced bottle feeding techniques. The session wraps up with time for you to ask questions specific to your situation, followed by snacks and a chance to connect with other parents.
This workshop welcomes pregnant parents, those currently nursing or bottle feeding, and their support partners. Babies under one year old are welcome to attend. While registration is encouraged, it's not required to join. The curriculum covers feeding goals, postpartum resources, pacifier use, and pumping tips—designed to help you find an approach that fits your family's needs best.
