Butterfly Walk

Join us for a guided exploration of butterflies at Prairie Ridge! We'll start with a short introduction to help you identify different butterfly species and learn about their fascinating behaviors. Then we'll head out into the garden and prairie areas to search for butterflies in their natural habitat and observe them up close. This program is designed for adults and older teens (18+) who want to deepen their knowledge of these beautiful insects. As part of the experience, you'll discover how to contribute your butterfly sightings to eButterfly, a collaborative citizen science project. Registration is required to attend, so be sure to sign up in advance.
