Children’s Independence Day Parade at Durham Central Park ⭐️

This beloved annual tradition returns with a festive twist this year at Durham Central Park. Kids can decorate their bikes and tricycles with help from crafts provided by Scrap Exchange, then join a parade celebrating Independence Day. The action kicks off at 9:30 am with bike decorating, followed by the parade at 10:30 am on the east side of the park near the playground. Beyond decorating, there's plenty to keep families entertained throughout the morning. Local firefighters will be on hand offering fire engine tours, and free popsicles will be available for everyone. This free event is perfect for young children who love bikes, parades, and hands-on activities.
