Cousins Picnic in the Park!

Looking for a laid-back way to connect with others in your community? Let's Get Social Raleigh Foundation is hosting an all-day gathering at E. Carroll Joyner Park that combines movement, creativity, and genuine connection. The day kicks off with a three-mile walk through the park trails, followed by a community picnic where attendees share their talents and passions—whether that's music, art, games, poetry, or cooking. Throughout the day, local wellness partners lead optional activities like yoga, Zumba, and fitness classes to help everyone move and relax together. This is a free, adults-only event designed for people who want to slow down and build meaningful connections with others. You're encouraged to bring something to share—a creative hobby, a favorite book, an instrument, snacks for a potluck, or simply your willingness to meet new people and learn what brings others joy.
