Día de la Ciencia y la Cultura
Free celebration of science and culture downtown Raleigh for all ages.
Día de la Ciencia y la Cultura is back for its third year, bringing a celebration of science and culture to the museum. This bilingual event (Spanish and English) features dozens of hands-on activities and interactive exhibits spread across both museum buildings. Families will have the chance to meet with scientists, explore displays highlighting Hispanic heritage, and enjoy live music, storytelling, art, and dance performances throughout the day.
The event is completely free and welcomes visitors of all ages and interests—whether your kids are budding scientists or just curious explorers. There's truly something for everyone, from interactive science stations to cultural performances. It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity and community while discovering something new together as a family.
