Discovery Force - Big Things, Small Spaces!

Discovery Force - Big Things, Small Spaces!

Hands-on science experiments exploring floating, sinking, and volume for grades 3–5.

**Discovery Force - Big Things, Small Spaces!** Kids in grades 3–5 will dive into hands-on experiments exploring why objects float or sink and how much space different things actually occupy. Using a mix of big and small items, children will investigate volume and buoyancy through interactive activities. No registration is needed—just show up and join in! Children will work independently during the program, though caregivers with kids under 10 should plan to stay inside the library. The library may photograph participants for their website and social media, so let staff know if you'd prefer to opt out. This is a great fit for curious elementary-age kids who enjoy learning through doing rather than just listening.
