Discovery Force - Macrame Coasters

At this Discovery Force program, your child will create a colorful macramé coaster by learning basic knotting techniques. It's a hands-on fiber arts activity where kids get to make something practical they can take home and actually use. The one-hour session welcomes children in grades 3 through 5, and no advance registration is needed—just show up and join in. If your child is under 10 years old, you'll need to stay inside the library while they participate independently in the program. This is a great introduction to fiber arts for kids who enjoy crafts and want to learn a new skill in a structured, creative setting.
