First Responders Day at New Hope Valley Railway ⭐️
Celebrate local heroes with the fire and police departments at First Responders Day on the railway.
Your family is invited to celebrate the heroes in our community at this special Touch-a-Truck event featuring the Apex Fire Department, Apex Police Department, and Wake County EMS. Kids and adults alike can explore emergency vehicles up close, climb inside to see how they work, and meet the firefighters, police officers, and paramedics who keep our area safe. It's a hands-on way to learn about first responder work while hearing stories directly from the people who do this important job every day.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with scenic train rides departing at 10:30 a.m. and noon—a perfect way to round out your visit. Tickets are available at TriangleTrain.com, with pricing starting at $13.20 for children ages 2–12, $16.45 for adults, and $15.37 for seniors 60 and older. Children under 2 ride free. This is a great outing for families of all ages who want to appreciate and connect with the first responders in our community.
