Genre of the Month Book Club

Join a laid-back community of readers who gather monthly to celebrate different literary styles and themes. Each month features a new genre—from banned classics to gothic horror to short story collections—and you pick any book that matches the theme. There's no required reading list here; the choice is entirely yours. Meetings happen on the second Wednesday of each month at an outdoor venue in Research Triangle Park, so you can enjoy a beverage or snack while chatting with fellow book lovers about what you've discovered. This group welcomes adult readers and emerging adults (ages 18+) who want to expand their reading tastes without the pressure of assigned titles. Since discussions take place outside, come prepared for the weather. Registration is required to attend, and you'll receive an email with the online event details upon sign-up.
