Grandfriends Storytime

This intergenerational storytime brings together children and the grown-ups who care for them for a shared literary experience. The program combines picture books, songs, rhymes, and movement activities—giving little ones plenty of chances to engage their bodies and minds while enjoying stories together. Grandparents, extended family members, and any caregivers in a child's life are warmly invited to participate. The half-hour session is designed for young children and works best when a special adult comes along. The library does take photos during programs that may appear on their website and social media, so let staff know if you'd prefer your family not to be photographed. It's a lovely way to create memories and strengthen bonds while enjoying books in a welcoming library setting.
