Hobbit Hike

Bring your love of fantasy adventures to life with this Middle Earth-themed outing through Pritchard Park. Participants will walk a one-mile loop featuring scenes inspired by beloved book moments, keeping an eye out for dragons, spiders, and eagles along the way. The journey wraps up in the outdoor classroom with hobbit-themed snacks and a chance to share favorite character quotes from the story. Costumes are welcome and encouraged! This experience is designed for kids ages 7 and up, as well as teens and adults. Be prepared for uneven, rocky, and potentially slippery terrain during the hike, so sturdy closed-toed shoes are essential. Comfortable outdoor clothing is recommended. Registration is required to attend, and the program may be cancelled if weather becomes unsafe. Adult supervision is needed for all children.
