iNaturalist Together After Dark

Join a group of iNaturalist enthusiasts for an evening of nocturnal wildlife exploration at Prairie Ridge. You'll use sweep nets to catch insects, take a short walk to the pond to listen for frogs and birds, and visit light stations designed to attract moths and other night-active insects. The program begins with a brief introduction to iNaturalist, including some helpful advanced features, before heading outside to observe and document what you find. To get the most out of this experience, bring a flashlight and have iNaturalist already downloaded on your smartphone or camera before arriving. You'll use these tools to photograph and record the wildlife you encounter. Registration is required for all Prairie Ridge programs, so be sure to sign up in advance.
