Incredible Science
Incredible Science at Downtown Raleigh
Your kids will spend 30 minutes watching live science experiments and demonstrations that bring everyday discoveries to life. The program rotates through different topics—one day you might see physics and chemistry in action with experiments about inertia, buoyancy, and magnetism, while another visit could focus on nature's engineering, like the remarkable structure of bird eggs or what makes beaver teeth so special. It's a casual, walk-up format, so no advance planning needed.
This program welcomes children ages 7 and up, though families with younger kids are welcome too. It's completely free and happens multiple times throughout the week at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center. Just show up during one of the scheduled times and enjoy—no registration required. It's a great way to spark curiosity about how science shows up in nature all around us.
