Incredible Science
Hands-on science demonstrations at NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
Your kids can dive into a fun 30-minute program packed with hands-on science demonstrations. Each session explores different topics—you might see physics and chemistry experiments about inertia, buoyancy, or electromagnetism one day, then learn about the remarkable structure of beaver teeth or the strength of bird eggs the next. The variety keeps things fresh, so returning visitors always discover something new.
This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration needed—just show up during one of the regular time slots. It's designed for children ages 7 and up, and admission is completely free. You'll find the program at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center in downtown Raleigh. It's a great way to spark curiosity about the natural world without any planning stress.
