Your family can enjoy a fun half-hour program filled with hands-on science experiments and demonstrations. The topics change regularly, so you might catch demonstrations exploring physics and chemistry concepts like inertia, buoyancy, or electromagnetism one visit, and learn about fascinating natural science the next—think beaver teeth structure or why bird eggs are so remarkably strong. Kids leave with a real sense of wonder about how the world works. This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration needed—just show up! It's designed for children ages 7 and up and runs several times throughout the week. The program is completely free to attend. You'll find it at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center in downtown Raleigh.
