Incredible Science

Your kids can explore the wonders of science in just 30 minutes with hands-on experiments and live demonstrations. Each session covers different topics—you might see physics and chemistry in action through demonstrations about inertia, buoyancy, or electromagnetism. Other times, the focus shifts to natural science, like learning about the surprising structure of beaver teeth or what makes bird eggs so incredibly strong. Since topics rotate, repeat visits reveal something new. This walk-up program is designed for ages 7 and up, and no advance registration is needed—just show up. It's completely free and takes place at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center. The program runs regularly on weekday and Saturday afternoons, making it easy to fit into your family's schedule when you're visiting the museum.
