Incredible Science

Your kids can explore the wonders of science with a lively 30-minute program featuring hands-on experiments and live demonstrations. Each session showcases different topics—you might see physics and chemistry in action through displays about inertia, buoyancy, or electromagnetism. Other days highlight fascinating natural science, like why beaver teeth are so incredibly tough or how bird eggs are engineered to be so strong. It's the kind of program that sparks curiosity and shows kids that science is everywhere around them. This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration needed—just show up and jump in. It's designed for children ages 7 and older, though younger siblings are welcome to tag along. The program is completely free and runs regularly throughout the week at Windows on the World, located on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center in downtown Raleigh.
