Incredible Science
Hands-on science demonstrations at NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
Your kids will love watching hands-on science experiments and demonstrations unfold in just thirty minutes. The topics rotate, so you might see physics and chemistry in action—exploring ideas like inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism—or dive into fascinating natural science, like learning why beaver teeth have such an incredible structure or discovering what makes bird eggs so remarkably strong. Each session brings something different, keeping things fresh if you visit multiple times.
This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration needed—just show up and enjoy. It's designed for children ages 7 and up and is completely free. You'll find the program at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center. It's offered several times throughout the week at different times, making it easy to fit into your family's schedule.
