Independence Day Celebration at Koka Booth Amphitheatre ⭐️
Free July 4th evening celebration with live music and America's 250th anniversary.
Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with your family at this free community gathering featuring live performances from the North Carolina Symphony and Cary Town Band. The evening kicks off with gate opening in the late afternoon and builds to a patriotic program that includes special readings, musical performances, and tributes to the nation's milestone. You'll hear familiar patriotic classics alongside high-spirited favorites, plus an ode to North Carolina's history presented by Poet Laureate Jaki Shelton Green. Kids can enjoy festive activities throughout the event, and the night culminates with fireworks and a DJ dance party with LED robots.
Plan to arrive early and settle in for a full evening of entertainment and community spirit. The mayor will address attendees, and there's even a raffle drawing later in the night (you'll need to be present to win). If you'd prefer reserved seating, a limited number of table seats are available for purchase. This is a beloved Triangle tradition that captures the holiday spirit while bringing families together, so bring a blanket or lawn chair and get ready for a memorable Independence Day evening.
