Independence Day Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza at Northeast Park (Gibsonville)

Guilford County's largest fireworks show with carnival rides and Independence Day fun.

Ring in the Fourth of July at what promises to be Guilford County's biggest fireworks display! Northeast Park is hosting a full evening of family-friendly celebration starting at 4 PM, with the fireworks lighting up the sky around 9:30 PM. Between now and then, you'll find carnival rides, live music from The Tams starting at 6 PM, food trucks, and mini-golf to keep everyone entertained. The festival officially opens at 4 PM, with rides beginning at 5 PM. Admission is just $10 per carload or $1 per person walking in (cash only). Carnival rides and food cost extra—rides are $2 per ticket, or you can buy 14 tickets for $20, with most rides requiring between one and four tickets. Arriving by 7 PM gives you the best shot at parking and good viewing spots for the fireworks. Pack your lawn chairs or blankets, bring plenty of water and snacks, and don't forget sunscreen. No registration needed—simply pay at the gate. Note that personal fireworks, pets (except service animals), and alcohol aren't permitted, but you're welcome to bring your own cooler of non-alcoholic drinks and food.
