Invasive Plant Removal Workday

This is a community service workday focused on removing invasive plant species from a local natural area. Families work together alongside volunteers to help protect native plants and restore the ecosystem. It's a hands-on, outdoor activity perfect for teaching kids about environmental stewardship and local conservation. Expect to spend a few hours pulling plants, learning from naturalists or park staff, and making a real difference in your community. Bring gloves, water, and wear sturdy shoes—it's rewarding work for all ages.
