July 19 - Shopping & Mahjong at LILYMAES

Spend an evening combining two great activities: learning or playing mahjong while enjoying a shopping experience at Lily Mae's. Wake Forest Mahj is hosting this two-hour event for players of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced players. The store will offer 15% off most merchandise during the event, plus wine and snacks will be provided for guests. You can choose your level of participation based on your experience. Beginners can take a lesson for $50, where instructors teach you the game from scratch and provide all materials (mats, tiles, and racks). If you've played before but want guidance, assisted play is available for $20. Already confident? Jump into open play for $10 and meet other local mahjong enthusiasts. Note that if you have an NMJL Card, bring it along; cards are also available for purchase at the event for $15. This is a welcoming community event designed to introduce newcomers while accommodating experienced players.
