July 4th Parade @ Mebane Historical Museum

July 4th Parade @ Mebane Historical Museum

Mebane's beloved 4th of July parade—a cherished annual Independence Day tradition.

Join the Mebane community for a festive Independence Day parade celebrating America's 250th birthday! Hosted by the Mebane Historical Museum and the Mebane Woman's Club, this beloved annual tradition welcomes families of all ages. The parade features non-motorized entries, so you're invited to decorate your bike, scooter, wagon, stroller, or even your pup in patriotic red, white, and blue colors and march along. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., with the parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. The morning will include special surprises honoring this milestone year. Best of all, this event is completely free to attend and participate in. If you're watching from the sidelines rather than marching, plan to arrive early to claim a good spot along the parade route. Whether your family wants to be active participants decked out in holiday spirit or cheering spectators, this is a wonderful way to celebrate together with neighbors and friends in Mebane.
