July Digital Literacy Class
July Digital Literacy Class Session 4 of 4 at 137 W. Margaret Lane
This four-session class gives adults a chance to build essential computer and internet skills while earning a laptop computer at the end. Sponsored through a grant, the program provides all equipment you need—no need to bring your own device. Topics cover practical basics like email, online safety and scams, protecting your digital identity, accessing banking and medical information online, and navigating social media responsibly.
To receive the laptop, you'll need to attend all four Thursday sessions. The class is capped at 10 students, so spots may fill quickly. If transportation is a barrier, Orange County Public Transportation offers free Demand Response rides with 48 hours' notice at (919) 245-2008. If you have a scheduling conflict, reach out to Andrew, the instructor, to discuss options before registering.
