Get your body moving with a free dance fitness class held right in the library. This chair-based workout gives you a complete full-body experience while keeping things low-impact and joint-friendly. It's designed with seniors, people with disabilities, and anyone needing modified movement in mind—but truly, all fitness levels are welcome here. The class creates a supportive environment where you can exercise at your own pace and comfort level.
Your instructor, Angela Lyght, is a certified Chair One Fitness professional and Chapel Hill native who genuinely cares about making fitness accessible and fun. She brings enthusiasm and encouragement to every session. While the library does encourage registration beforehand, you don't need to sign up in advance to attend—newcomers are absolutely welcome to drop in whenever it works for your schedule.
