Little Fentonians at Fenton: Touch-a-Truck ⭐️
Interactive touch-a-truck event at Fenton Square with fire department.
Your family is invited to an interactive morning at Fenton Square featuring real vehicles and the professionals who operate them. Kids can climb aboard a Cary Fire Department fire engine, explore construction equipment from DH Griffin Infrastructure, and meet officers from the Cary Police Department. A highlight for little ones is riding a child-sized trackless fire truck that travels along Main Street—perfect for children who are fascinated by big machines and flashing lights. This event welcomes children of all ages and offers plenty of hands-on exploration.
Best of all, there's no admission cost, though organizers ask that families register in advance to help them plan for supplies and activities. After enjoying the vehicles and activities, you're welcome to grab lunch at one of the nearby Fenton restaurants. The community is also collecting school supplies during the event to support local Wake County schools, so feel free to bring items to donate if you're able. This is a casual, free way to spend a morning with your kids while introducing them to community helpers and vehicles they don't often get to experience up close.
