Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat
Watch live ocean animal feeding at NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
Your kids can watch staff members feed the marine animals in the Our Changing Oceans aquarium during this short, free program. It's a casual walk-up experience—no need to register ahead of time. You'll get to see the living collections staff in action and learn about the various species that call the 10,000-gallon tank home, including angelfish, tangs, grunts, balloonfish, and lobsters.
This 15-minute program works well for families with children of any age and is offered multiple times throughout the week. It's a great way to spend a few minutes exploring marine life without needing to plan ahead, and it fits easily into a museum visit or a quick outing downtown.
