Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat

Watch live ocean animals being fed at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.

Watch as staff members feed the marine animals living in the Our Changing Oceans aquarium during this short, educational program. You'll get to see several species in action, including colorful angelfish and tangs, various types of grunts, balloonfish, and lobsters—all housed in a 10,000-gallon tank. It's a great chance to chat with the Living Collections staff and learn more about ocean life up close. This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration is needed. It runs just 15 minutes, making it easy to fit into your visit. The program is completely free and welcomes families with children of all ages, as well as teens and adults. You'll find it at the Nature Research Center on the first floor in the Our Changing Oceans exhibit.
