Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat

Your kids can watch as staff members feed the fish and other marine creatures living in the museum's 10,000-gallon ocean habitat aquarium. During this short program, you'll get to meet the Living Collections staff and learn about the animals on display, including angelfish, tangs, grunts, balloonfish, and lobsters. It's a walk-up program, so no advance registration is needed—just show up and enjoy the action. This is a quick 15-minute experience that works well for families with children of any age. It's completely free and happens regularly on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, so it's easy to fit into your visit to the museum. Head to the first floor of the Nature Research Center where the Our Changing Oceans exhibit is located to catch the feeding.
