Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat

Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat at Downtown Raleigh

Watch as staff members feed the marine animals in the Our Changing Oceans aquarium during this short, interactive program. You'll get to see the feeding in action and have a chance to chat with the Living Collections staff about the creatures in the 10,000-gallon tank. The aquarium is home to a variety of colorful fish and other ocean life, including angelfish, tangs, grunts, balloonfish, and lobsters. This is a walk-up program, so no registration or tickets are needed—just show up and enjoy. It's completely free and works well for families with kids of any age, as well as teens and adults interested in marine life. The program runs for about 15 minutes, giving you a quick but engaging look at how these ocean animals are cared for.
