Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat

Your kids can watch staff members feed the animals living in a massive 10,000-gallon aquarium during this short, family-friendly program. You'll get to see several species in action, including colorful angelfish and tangs, various types of grunts, balloonfish, and lobsters. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions and share insights about ocean life, making this a great chance for kids to learn while watching the feeding happen in real time. Best of all, there's no need to sign up ahead of time—just show up! The program runs for about 15 minutes and happens multiple times a week, so it's easy to fit into your museum visit. It's completely free and welcomes visitors of all ages. You'll find it on the first floor of the Nature Research Center in the Our Changing Oceans exhibit.
