Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat
Watch live ocean animals being fed at NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
Watch as staff from the Living Collections team feed the marine animals in the Our Changing Oceans aquarium during this short, engaging program. You'll see a variety of ocean species in action, including angelfish, tangs, grunts, balloonfish, and lobsters—all living in a 10,000-gallon habitat. It's a wonderful opportunity to observe these creatures up close and learn from the experts who care for them daily.
This is a walk-up program, so no registration or tickets are needed—just show up and enjoy. The 15-minute session works well for families with children of any age, as well as teens and adults curious about marine life. Best of all, it's completely free. The program runs on a regular schedule throughout the week, making it easy to fit into your visit to the Nature Research Center.
