Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat
Live Animal Feeding – Ocean Habitat at NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
Your kids can watch staff members feed the ocean animals in the Our Changing Oceans aquarium during this short, hands-on program. The 10,000-gallon tank is home to several colorful species, including different types of angelfish and tangs, various grunt fish, balloonfish, and lobsters. You'll also have the chance to chat with the Living Collections staff members who care for these creatures and can answer questions about marine life.
This is a walk-up program, so no registration or advance planning is needed—just show up and watch. It's perfect for families with curious kids of any age who want to learn more about ocean habitats. The 15-minute session happens three times a week, and admission to the museum is free, making it an easy addition to your visit.
