Live Like a Dino @ Gibsonville Public Library (Ages 6–12)
Dinosaur-themed weekly exploration with crafts for K–5th graders.
Calling all young dinosaur enthusiasts! This weekly program invites children in kindergarten through 5th grade to dive into the prehistoric world. Each session combines learning about dinosaurs with creative, hands-on activities—kids will build their own habitats and tackle interactive challenges that bring these ancient creatures to life.
The program runs weekly and is completely free to attend. There's no need to register in advance; just drop in whenever it works for your family. You're welcome to bring lunch from home, or your child can make one at the library during the session. Note that children under 8 need to have an adult present with them throughout the program. It's a great way to spark curiosity about natural history while keeping kids entertained during the summer.
