Meet the Keepers

Your family can drop by the Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden to chat with the gardeners who care for the bees, chickens, and edible plants there. Just look for staff or volunteers wearing Duke Gardens shirts—they're happy to chat about what they're working on that day. This is a casual, no-registration activity suited for kids and adults of any age. Keep in mind that children will need an adult with them. The event is free to attend, though standard parking fees apply when you visit Duke Gardens. Before you go, it's worth knowing that you'll be walking on a mix of paved and unpaved paths with some uneven ground and gentle hills.
