Meet the Keepers

Your family is invited to visit the Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden and connect with the people who care for this special space. During this drop-in session, you'll meet the gardeners and volunteers (look for Duke Gardens shirts) who tend to the bees, chickens, and edible plants throughout the garden. They're happy to chat about what they're doing, making it a great chance for kids to learn directly from the experts. This activity welcomes all ages, though children do need an adult with them. There's no cost to attend and no registration required—just show up during the time slot. Keep in mind that the garden features a mix of paved and unpaved paths with some uneven terrain and gentle hills, so wear appropriate footwear. Parking is available but does carry a fee.
