Member Monday: Ancient Nubia
Member Monday: Ancient Nubia in Raleigh
Members get exclusive access to explore the Ancient Nubia exhibition during special daytime hours. The museum will be closed to the general public that day, giving members a chance to enjoy the galleries at their own pace. Fresh coffee, beverages, and pastries will be available during the first hour, so you can settle in with a treat as you begin your visit. In the afternoon, docent-led stations offer guided exploration of the displays if you'd like expert insight into the Kingdom of Kush and its fascinating history.
This is a members-only event, and it's completely free. Just bring your membership card—no advance reservation needed. The exhibition itself features artifacts from archaeological expeditions over 100 years ago, including items from royal tombs and pyramids, plus interactive displays and digital features that help bring this overlooked ancient civilization to life. Note that the café isn't open Mondays, and other galleries remain closed during this members-exclusive time. For questions, contact the membership team at (919) 664-6754 or membership@ncartmuseum.org.
