Most Delicious Poison: A Virtual Author Talk with Noah Whiteman
Virtual author talk on how plants, animals & microbes create toxins—cutting-edge science made accessible.
Join author and geneticist Noah Whiteman for a virtual conversation about his book *Most Delicious Poison*, an exploration of how toxins shape life on Earth. Drawing on research in evolution, chemistry, and neuroscience, Whiteman examines where poisons come from—plants, fungi, microbes, and animals—and how organisms developed ways to survive them. This fascinating look at chemical warfare throughout nature and history offers surprising insights into everything from everyday houseplants to human civilization itself.
